Shiv Sena workers vandalise Hotel Intercontinental Grand - Jet Airways employees connection

Who is to blame? Firstly - The Shiv Sena in and of itself - remains primarily a 'terrorist' organization. If by 'terrorist' is meant - someone who spreads terror by the use of force - then Shiv Sena and the Bharatiya Kamgar Sena (BKS) epitomize terrorism. They commit crimes such as these in the name of their pathetic idealogy.

However - equally guilty in this particular case are the Jet Airways employees who - back in October of 2008 - went running to these criminals begging for help. These 'educated' Jet airways employees failed to realize that their real enemy was not their employer - but was - and has always been - rogue organizations that resort to muscle power for getting their way.

It is because of organizations such as the Shiv Sena that businesses cannot function normally as they do in other countries. Along with our economic liberalization and opening up the business climate in India, what India needs is controlling groups such as the Shiv Sena, who act as nothing but barriers to business.

These obstacles placed in the way of hard working employers leads to larger unemployment - since a business cannot resort to its normal practices of hiring and firing based on employee performance. This is something so basic that it is a shock that employees of Jet airways - in spite of their education - are unable to see it. They went running to criminals for help - the criminals helped them (and ended up looking like heroes) - and those disgruntled Jet employees helped create yet another stronghold for criminals. It is a bit like asking the person who just shot you to take you to the hospital.

End result - the Jet employees set some sort of morbid precedent for having other laid-off workers seek help from the Shiv Sena. This led the employees of the Grand Intercontinental to seek the same kind of liaison with the BKS (Bhartiya Kamgar Sena, another militant group within Shiv Sena).

Terror comes from both outside (as witnessed in the Taj/Oberoi attacks) - as well as the homegrown variety - in the form of Shiv Sena. It is sad to see some disgruntled employees resort to seeking the help of terrorists to get their jobs back!

How to fight back against Shiv Sena's blatant abuse of power

By now, you may have read that Shiv Sena is out attacking Cyber-cafes and on a march to ban websites that mention anything against Bal Thackeray or the Sena. They are curbing our right to free speech - and using violent means to do so.

There are a couple of ways to retaliate - short term and long term.
Long term - they need to be kicked out of office - for their blatant abuse of power.
Meanwhile - while they continue their hot-headed abuse of power by banning anti-Shiv Sena websites - let us go make sure that there are more websites than they can handle.

I say - we create a host of Shiv-Sena blog sites - and simply list the moronic activities they have recently been engaged in . Everything from
  1. Attacking restaurants with 'Bombay' in their name (to force them to change to 'Mumbai') http://mumbai.metblogs.com/archives/2007/05/ban_the_shiv_sena_from_bombay.phtml
  2. Kicking out bar dancers forcefully - for no committed crime.http://www.my-maharashtra.com/cgi-bin/n/viewnews.cgi?newsid1181389640,99510,
  3. Attacking cyber-cafes - because they allowed access to Orkut.com !http://mumbai.metblogs.com/archives/2007/06/shiv_sena_louts_attack_cyberca.phtml

These people are nothing but goondas - imposing their goonda raj. The sad part is that the police seems to be supporting their goonda-ism.

They want to censor the words 'I Hate' - everywhere that Orkut has discussions revolving around hatred of Shiv Sena. So I decided to name this blog 'IHateShivSena'.
